    God of War II

One of the best looking games on PS2, by far. One of the most solid gameplay experiences of my life. Game took hours and hours to beat (on Hard mode). Puzzles were interesting, not boring - a problem with 1 and 3. Challenges were manageable but difficult (a problem with 1). Story: impeccable, if a little predictable (a problem with 3). Overall, the best in the epic series, IMO, and a really really fun game that I can play over and over again to this day.

    Infantry Online / Subspace Continuum

I list these two together because they were made by the same developer (though Infantry was bought by SOE) and have almost exactly the same gameplay. I got into these games big time when I was younger (11-13). They're essentially iso or top-down shooters with a focus on variety of playstyle. Depending on which map you pick, you could be playing Alien vs Marine shooter, Mech & Tank skirmishes, Team Deathmatch, CTF, etc, etc. You could even design and host your own maps for people to play. Definitely one of the most addictive online MMO shooters I've ever played.

Infantry map(s) of choice: Mechanized Skirmish, Bug Hunt

    Fallout 3

I know it's story is weaker than some of the others in the Fallout series, but it's the one that introduced me to the series. It's the one that I really connect with the most and continue to play most to this day. New Vegas is not as fun for me -- at least not yet. Partly thanks to the INCREDIBLE modding community around this game that make this game re-playable forever, essentially. I still find never-before-explored places in this game and always have fun creating new characters.

You are a boner in .gif format.
Lol. I'll take that as a compliment.

Thanks man! I'm really glad you liked it. If you'd like I can hook you up with some High Res versions when I get home. Also: I think I have a fix for the centering thing. ;)

Caniroth wins at awesome/style (kind of like the DFans logo), Jetrall wins at the web-clean look (like the Curse logo).

By writing that I just noticed how much that actually does look like the Curse logo :P

Well, I made the DFans logo, so I'll take that as two compliments rather than just one. ;)

Also, the resemblance to Curse's logo was unintentional but somewhat fortunate, IMO. I think it makes sense.

    Love your logo Jetrall :)

And I yours. It's more in keeping with the darkness and fire of Diablo, whereas I went with the 'simplicity' of a handy search engine sort of feel.

That's shaping up nicely Jet but I think it looks nicer without the double lines. How does it look in a solid colour? Or maybe two-tone?

    Is that Coolvetica? Looks sweet.

Mmm. Well, it'll depend on what Seth has to say I guess (in regards to whether to go with that shading or not).

Coolvetica - yes. I modified it very slightly, but it's almost 100% straight Coolvetica. I like it. :)

I appreciate that, but you should still submit your design(s)! :)

    Here's mine w/ some text...

Here's another two designs for you...

If you choose one that you like, I can work on integrating it w/ text (such as the above example) or just choosing a nice font to go next to it. I'll try a variety of options, of course.

For good logo design simplicity is the key. You want something people are going to remember, easily recognisable at a glance. I think Jetrall's is good for a rough draft.

Yeah, that was the idea. This concept sprung into my head. I'm now thinking of a more effective way to accomplish this design. Will post in a bit.

Zubin is the man. He's crazy in all the right ways and has been here since the olden days - which makes him pretty much automatically cool in my book.
