Well from what I've heard and read, you can control each individual party member but if you don't want the hassle of doing that you can just stay in your character and the others will fight along with you, and you can make sure they act how you want them to with detailed AI options.

I forgot to post this on here yesterday so I'll do it today.
You can play an online mini-game of Dragon Age, which allows you to get items for the game when it comes out. The game itself plays like Heroes of Might and Magic, where you have a certain amount of spaces and actions you can do per turn in combat. Its fairly entertaining and challenging.

You get the in-game items by completing achievements, quests, and filling out a survey.

I would also like to point out that this is only the first chapter and there will be more.

    Check it for yourselves.

That was actually pretty entertaining and very well made.
    Cool beans!

I agree, Neverwinter nights 2 requirements were way out of line considering the graphics were.. well.. not very great at all.
I enjoyed it, but mostly because I played it online with 2 friends.

Rage only. As of now the plan is for only the WD to use mana. All other classes will use a different mechanic. I'm glad about this. It will help replayability when playing other characters.

    Didn't know that actually.
    Sounds pretty good.

You should decide on a band name with your other band members, not here.
Bands who can't think of a nice band name themselves lack creativity in my opinion.

Plus appealing to teenagers by making angry or depressing music is like shooting fish in a barrel

While I agree with you mostly, I disagree on the fact that they make "angry" or "depressing" music to appeal to teenagers.
That's what bands like My Chemical Romance and Slipknot are for, they appeal to the teenagers because they are played on MTV and the radio and lets face it, that's where most teenagers get their musical interests from.
Not these bands, who are mostly in the DIY scene, hardly any average teenager knows of them.

Some of the screamo bands just are angry at a lot of things and choose express themselves through their music and lyrics, not necessarily trying to appeal to anyone in particular.

Also classifying music is not very important indeed, if you like it you like it. However genres make it easier to find bands that share a similar style you like.

posted a message on Screamo - The facts.
    Hello and welcome.
I though I'd make a thread about what screamo actually is because everywhere I go there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding and misuse of the term screamo.

"Screamo" is a music style that developed out of Emo, more specifically hardcore Emo, in the early 1990s. Characteristic of the genre are the screaming vocals (not growling). Other than that, it's fairly hard to classify (particularly since the rule about screaming vocals is bent fairly often).
Much like its predecessor, it's very much an underground genre with virtually no mainstream recognition.

However, in recent years, the term "screamo" has been misused very commonly to describe postpunk, pop-rock, rock, metalcore, or hardcore bands with emo influences. Bands like Taking Back Sunday, Glassjaw, Thursday, Underoath, Refused, Bleeding Through, Every Time I Die, Unearth, Atreyu, Senses Fail, Finch, Hawthorne Heights, Emery, Saosin, Silverstein have been wrongly called screamo in the press.

    [Hardcore]
    [Emo]
    And then there was screamo...

    How about some examples?

    - Orchid -
Considered by many to be one of the pioneers of the screamo sound.

    - Circle Takes The Square -

Japan has some nifty screamo bands as well:

    - Killie -

    " height="344">" />

    [More Killie]

    - Envy -
    Combines post-rock and screamo

    " height="344">" />

Well that's it for now, I hope you learned something and/or enjoyed the videos.
If you want some more bands feel free to ask me, or if you have some bands to add or have something to correct, let me know.

Also please watch all videos fully before you comment about how you hate this.
If you do hate it, that's fine but keep it civilized.

That's not objectivity, that's called 'tolerance'.

It's completely impossible for anyone to be completely objective about anything. Everyone experiences the world in a subjective point of view. Absolute objectivity would require omniscience.

That is...if you want to be specific about it.

    Well I don't.

I didn't mean to imply he should be objective because that is indeed impossible.
But you get my point, hopefully.

Actually, Delviter, it is humanly impossible to give an opinion that isn't biased. Opinions are, by their nature, bias.

    True.
But I guess what I meant was that it is possible to take an objective view on things and accept that people have different tastes, even if you don't understand why people like it.

Yeah that's about right, you can pretty much choose any class, they just start out with different stats and items.
Though the Royal class is best suited for a magic user because of the MP regen ring you start out with.

As for items yeah I guess you could compare it to fable, there are some nice sets and some random items but nothing like Diablo in numbers with randomly generated stats etc.

Customisation as in making you characters face look the way you want to isn't that great, no.
but you can divide stats and pretty much make your character play the way you want to. I guess that would count as customisation as well in a way.

Replayability depends on how badly you want the trophy's, getting the platinum trophy is pretty hard to get and will probably require you to start a "New Game+" at least once which has increased difficulty.
Unless you play with a guide which will snatch you all the trophy's on your first play through, but that would ruin the experience imo.
