I love seeing the big swords that you usually see in anime, like the ones that Cloud(ffvii advent child) and ichigo(bleach) oftend uses.
I hate those kinds of swords. I can usually tell if I'm going to like a sword fighting anime based on the size of the swords they use. And if it's those kinds that are taller and wider than their own bodies, then I'm like, "Oh, it's one of those animes."
The Green Destiny from Crouching Tiger was a cool sword. My all time favorite might be Dark Storm from Lands of Lore II.
I figured someone would eventually say that. I guess those are considered swords. When I was younger, I used to think they were actually called life savers. It made sense to me they'd be called that.
Haha last night, my girlfriend and I were talking about movies, and she told me she had never seen Star Wars. I was like, "WTF woman, why are we dating then?!". I obviously said it sarcastically, and she was like, "Oh, well it just seems too nerdy with the Wookiie's, little bear things, and the life savers."
I was like, "Life savers? What are those"
And she said, "You know, those knives with the beam that comes outta them that saves their life most of the time."
I said, "They're called Light Sabres... And they're not knives, they're swords of focused light from a crystal within the handle."
She was like, "Whatever, see - it IS too damn nerdy."
