Basically i was wondering what video game or book would you like to see as a movie? Personally i have quite a few, some of which have no hope of becoming but it would be kewl to see.
Metal Gear Solid (with the fan base, exstremly possible) Red Faction (old PC FPS has a great story line in the game but like i said its old so it has like no chance for a movie) Elder Scrolls (exstremly possible huge fan base and has plenty of content to make great movie) Wizard's First Rule (A very good book Written by Terry Goodkind its well to put it simply Epic[ read the series and you, will see why Called "The Sword of Trust"] of course to make a movie for ever book would be near impossible) Diablo of course (THough it has well sorry to say not as much chance until Diablo3 comes out and re-writes the history of MMO's) Spinter Cell (ya i know its already on its way but still just thought some who don't know should)
Movies after games are way too hard to make. I would imagine them as good for movies, but they never seem to make out. I would want a Heretic/heXen movie, trailing through the whole story. But that wouldn't be sensible enough...
I think so but didn't the funding fall whrough or something? i would imagine it will be anima motion picture in a few years though (if its not already out..dont know)
There was some kind of production issue. And I think it was so behind schedule they had to pull it. But the news surrounding it was mostly just rumours.

People find money for their movies somehow (Lynch, Cronenberg).
Indeed. No one thought Dune would ever really be made into a movie. Since it went through two directors before Lynch decided to do it. And to his credit, I think Lynch did as good a job on Dune as one can really. It doesn't translate to the screen very well as the story and dialogue is very complex and heavily layered with background information. But I think the Dune movie was way better than the miniseries, despite is inaccuracies. The direction, actors, music, and ambiance felt very authentic for the Dune universe. And when I read those books I picture those actors and that kind of music as I'm reading them.
-Devil May Cry
-Legend of Zelda
-Metal Gear Solid
-Dawn: Lucifer's Halo
-Red Sonja (a better one)
-Witchblade (a better one, one more like Michael Turner's version, not the tv show)
-Devil May Cry
i am aware some of the above manga already have an anime, but not a live action movie, or even a CGI movie
and im looking forward to Iron Man, Thor, Watchman, Magdalena, Neon Genesis, Battle Angel Altira
